It is less suitable for a quick meal, a modest budget, or anyone seeking a broad vegetarian or vegan selection. The menus also favor diners comfortable committing time to a multi-course experience. What is on the dinner menu?

The dinner tasting menu costs DKK 1,995 and must be taken by the whole table. It is served daily from 18:00 to 20:00 and currently includes Norwegian scallop, turbot, tenderloin, and a corn dessert. A six-glass wine pairing adds DKK 1,450 or DKK 2,250.

The higher pairing pushes the listed food-and-wine total to DKK 4,245 before any other drinks or extras. À la carte diners have more control over cost and course count. Current mains include black-truffle risotto at DKK 495, Danish turbot with caviar at DKK 565, poulet au vin jaune at DKK 495, and grilled tenderloin at DKK 595, as listed on Marchal's official dinner menu.

That makes the listed three-course lunch with pairing DKK 1,320, substantially below the dinner tasting menu with either pairing. Published regular service covers lunch Monday through Saturday and dinner every day. Sunday follows a different pattern because the restaurant runs a Champagne brunch rather than its regular lunch service.

However, Hotel d'Angleterre's brunch page says all 2026 dates are fully booked. Online-only sales for the first quarter of 2027 open on October 12 at 10:00. Marchal does not serve the brunch during December.
